Alton is not one to lie down when cornered. Captured, stripped of his equipment, and imprisoned, his first reaction is not to consider his failure, but to grab the nearest thing that can create a mark (soap) and start working on a magic circle to help get him out. Perseverance!
So, here's an ink drawing in greyscale. Greyscale was really the only way I was going to be able to get across the soap smears on the floor. Hope you like your dude, ~CuVallen! ___________
I've always really liked your clean lines and bold compositions. (Found this while deleting oooooold deviant inbox, and it deserved comment.) The texture of his hair is awesome, too-- not the typical straight or curly hair people draw.
And thank you so much, I appreciate it. I've gotten so much better with my inking (seeing some stuff I did in 2005 yesterday made me yack), but I can't say I can take full credit for Alton's design. ~CuVallen knew about what he wanted as far as costuming, but he was so vague on what Alton actually looked like that I used him as a basis. ~psionronin says Alton looks like the actor who would play ~CuVallen in a movie about him.

I was just discussing a character in a similar bind--who had just gone into the bathroom to find a way out using mirrors.
But that aside, I love the composition of the image c: I am such a fan of your inking style and character designs~
